Achiltibuie

Located on Scotland's northwest coast Achiltibuie is definitely worth the journey to. The area is also made up of Altandhu, Polbain and Reiff. Achiltibuie has a great hotel The Summer Isles, garage, shop and church. You'll forget about the rest of the world, the views change every time you look at it and the surrounding landscape will often take your breath away.

25 miles by road northwest of Ullapool, Achiltibuie and the other villages on the Coigach peninsula enjoy some of the most spectacular views anywhere in the highlands.

Also in is the fascinating Hydroponicum Centre where plants are grown without soil, and only in water.
