Blairgowrie Highland games are a great day out, I actually prefer them to the more publicized ones like the Braemar Games as you get much more of a feel for what the games are really about.
The games attract a huge variety of different stalls from art and crafts to wild life. Last year we actually stroked the Owl which was used in the film Harry Potter.
Each year Rattray and Blairgowrie have a Tug of War, I am not sure what the score is but I think Blairgowrie have won the last couple of times, so if you are a big lad please help the folk on the Rattray side.
There are loads of other games going on in the area at different times through out the summer period like kirkmichael, Pitlochry and many more.
