This substantial Victorian
merchant's house is conveniently situated in a peaceful
location within easy walking distance of the Blairgowrie town
centre. The house dates back to 1850 and a self contained wing
is available for letting.
Whilst the interior is recently renovated, much of the
original character remains to add charm and appeal to the
rooms which are comfortably furnished and cosy.
The house stands in a most
attractive, large, South-facing garden and we provide garden
furniture, a barbeque and children's outdoor play equipment -
young children would require supervision as there is a pond.
Bed linen and towels provided.
Blairgowrie is a popular market town
which lies between  the Vale of Strathmore (The Big Valley) and the
foothills of the Grampian Mountains - it is at the centre of a
network of country roads which makes it perfect for touring
the Highlands or Lowlands. The area offers much in the way of
outdoor activities with many fine
golf courses, good fishing, walking (Cateran Trail), off-road
driving, hill walking/climbing
and winter sports making it a
popular holiday spot all year round. We can arrange angling,
subject to availability and at an extra charge. This is the
centre of the soft fruit growing area - the produce is hard to
resist! There are lovely riverside
walks and a park near the house.
