We had a very enjoyable week

We had a very enjoyable week despite the weather. We enjoyed walks on the estate including Ben Reries. Also managed to the top of Cairngorm, Frochnagar and Bermadice, as well as visiting Culloden and Fort George. Another interesting day was spent doin a costal walk and finding the caves between Lossiemouth and Nairn.

The house was very comfortable and well equipped.

What a fantastic week

What a fantastic week we have had. The house is so well equipped and furnished to a very high standard. Location is just beautiful - so peaceful and relaxing
We've had the benefit of fantastic weather, and have been out doors most of the time walking with our dog. Favorite places include Loch Morloch in the Glenmore Forest Park, also near by Loch An Eilian. Both walks are gentle - took about 1 1/2 hours. Our dog particularly liked walking on the beach on Loch Morloch. Both also have visitor centres with cafe - shops - toilets, and would be suitable for cycling or walking with young children in pushchairs as paths quite good.
Can highly recommend the Dalnashaugh Hotel at Ballindalloch junction for lovely food. We went twice! Best to book at the weekend as it can get busy.
We will definitely be back again and will highly recommend the cottage to our family and friends, can't wait to visit Windyhill in September.
