Loch Ness

Loch Ness is close to our Self Catering Cottage Hillview. It takes about 40 minutes to get to Loch Ness.

Loch Ness of course is famous for the Loch Ness monster it is also the largest body of fresh water in Scotland. It is about 23 miles long and at its deepest point is 813 feet deep.

Loch Ness is located in the Great Glen which is a geologic fault.

There are many activities to do around the loch with boat and submarine trips.
