Another Source Of Links

I follow the following rules for building links, 20% from Good Quality directories, 15% from content / article sites and 10% from social bookmarking. So at least 55% needs to come from one way, reciprocal and natural links.

Good Quality directories include sites like yahoo, dmoz.org and botw these sites tend to be good as they are maintained by humans and also they do reject sites if they are not correct or up to standard.

There are many article sites out there that allow deep linking which again re-enforces your internal pages and helps the long tail effect.

Local bookmarking sites like reddit and del.icio.us are also very good bookmarking sites.

Getting reciprocal links and one way links is the toughest links to get, but fortunately many more self catering owners now realise how important it is to work together and help promote each other sites.
