The weather has been great for this here for year with little rain during the day and lots of sunshine. We still walked everyday with water proofs, jackets, wellies, fleeces etc etc…..not a pretty sight in Mom’s case with her print hat on!!
Had lots of walks from the house, to the beach, to Reiff, up Meal an Fheadain for a picnic at the top and a long walk to the recent shop. We well to Lochinver (nice pics shane about the sit in price!) – gorgeous day of a red deer crossed right in front of us much to the delight of the kids….and us. Today we drive to culnacraig and did a lovely walk through the farm to Achduart along a coastal pall. The sun shine and the views again were amazing.
Our three and 1/2 year old walked most of the walks on his own with the odd ten minute carry. He’s had a great time and has slept to well…probably exhausted. The older two have had a great time playing, and enjoyed all the Monday marshland and suggy heather. We’ve had fun and had a great family time. The house and everything in it is welcoming, warm and well equipped. Thanks for a great holiday & hopefully well be back soon.
