Best view from top of Quinag. Most exhausting walk from Reiff to Achnahaird Bay – too many boys! Recommend Elphin Tearooms for post “Cul Mor ” tea. Use Bills boat to do Summer Isles Tour (ter. no. in Polbair Stores) and don’t forget the stamps from the Summer Isles post office. Stac Polliadh a good warm up then look down on it from Beag! Am Fuaran Bar serves very good food.
Only disappointments were a lack of the haunting call of the great northern dives and the hot water system.
