Our first time to Windyhill, but it wont be our last.

The weather has been fantastic with only one wet day. We saw 3 others at Garvy Bay and watched gannets dining into the sea. An evening drive out at Polbain, saw deer on the road. We highly recommend the vast assessment of Pies from the larobe at Lochinver and the very scenic drive there.

The waterfall walk to Kirkaig falls is a pleasant 3 hours walk and worth the effort. This is worth doing on the way to Lochinver to build up an appetite for Pie allow a good 2 houses to walk alone Stac Pollaidh. The views on the far side are spectacular, an experience we plan to repeat next time we stop at Windyhill.
