Poor weather this week, but still lots to see and do from a wonderful home base

Plenty of deer and eagles to be seen between ledmore and Lochinver. Kyleska is also a good visit with good view points worth and south of the Bridge.

If you like drawing, take the back road to Lochinver, if you liked that then try the road to Drumbeg!!!

The caberfiedh at Lochinver is excellent as is the Pie Shop. The local pub is also very good, but out of season, research the opening times of all local establishments or take a packed lunch.

There’s much move in Ullapool, but you have to look around the back streets to find it all! Smoo cave at Durness is well worth a visit, watch for the Fulmar colony.

P.S. The “Bone Cang” are well worth a visit. Walking boots required and a torch!
