Our first time to this part of Bonnie Scotland and bay was it warm a visit

The house is amazing. The open plan or huge windows are a design dream and we spent many I while sat in the fab window seats; watching the changing scenery. The hot tub was a welcome extra 🙂 Thank you to the cleaner – who does a fab job.

We realized why it was called Windyhill as a storm caused a power cut on Tuesday through Wednesday: the winds were so strong that the tiles roppled ooeer! We were on as we’d purchased loap & kindling so we had warmth. It was part of our adventure.

As other have said pub & shop are great for supplies. we also purchased diesel & supplies in Achiltibuie. Tesco in Ullapool was handy for big shop at the start of the holiday.

We hope to be back in the spring/summer months as the scenery will be so very different.
