Am Fuaran Bar is definitely worth a visit, lovely atmosphere and beautiful freshly cooked food, it was even enjoyed by our 10 year old fussy eater daughter. 🙂
Myself and my 14 year old son enjoyed the trek up to Stack Polly (there’s parking opposite) it took us 2 hours to get up and come down, we came the same way down because this is the first climb we have ever done we were so proud of ourselves.
Inverewe gardens are worth a visit, it took us 2 hours to get there but what a beautiful journey it was, breath taking Scenery, waterfalls and lovely beaches on the way. The climate is warmer due to the gulf stream and the range of plants were fantastic. It cost approx 29 per adult.
We traveled up to Smoo caves in Dorness (2hrs) which again was a beautiful drive the cave was partly closed due to recent bad weather but Stue amazing.
We thought the house was lovely and very well equipt and spent many happy hours looking out the window watching the world go by. Reece (14) and Amber (10) enjoyed the rock pools near the chalets over the road.
Hope to come back again soon.
