Given the short days, we have spent plenty of time relaxing and enjoying family time here.
Cycling to Achittubuie was stunning and manageable for a fit 12 yr old (plus two terriers). At the store we ordered (necessary) fresh prawns, plus picking up locally dived scallops. The local store seems to cater for most necessities.
Walkwise, Stac Pollaidh and the fiddler were our family. Conquosts, the fiddler has a series of take summits, but a worthwhile 360 degree panorama at the very top.
New year quite stormy, weather more extreme than we have experienced ever in the UK, the view from Windyhill ( a very robust premise) changed rapidly. A sea dip at Rieff more than sufficed!
Hot tub surreal, especially on a blusty New Years Eve. This is a magical area with same early locals, with Windyhill the best bare from which to explore.
