We desperately searching for that ‘somewhere Special’ for my husband’s 50th Birthday week. It has lived up and the expectations of ‘Somewhere Special’ with Capital S’s! The drive here and the views are unlike anywhere we’ve ever been and the memories will stay with us for a very long time.
Although it is out of Season and there really wasn’t anywhere open, we’ve managed to entertain ourselves and our dogs with wonderful walks down to Reiff, upto Stac Polliadh (I always spell that wrong!) and the Kirkaig falls. It’ll take me a week to edit all the photographs we’ve taken!
Windyhill is a beautiful house in a truly lovely location, that has been a very comfortable and secure have to us for a week. We appreciated the very secure garden for our dogs, to be able to run about and exercise and we even saw an other one might, as it legged it to safety, from our 2 mutts on the late night toilet break!
Bed was so comfy sheets were so soft and everything was immaculate. Hot tub was wonderful and we managed to use it most days, whatever the weather, however cold it was! So a big thanks to the very discreet hot tub man who came every morning I heard his footsteps but never saw him.
We’ve had a wonderful time and it was worth the very long journey to get here to celebreate the husband’s 1/2 a Century in style! Keep up the Good work!
