We had a very long drive to get here (12 hrs) but when we finally got here the location is stunning, The views are something very special and we enjoyed many a walk to Reiff and all the lovely little beaches, especially arachna head which is beautiful and filled with after catchers. We have been very lucky with the weather, only 1 day of rain and two of glorious sun to show off the scenery.
We even managed to catch a glimpse of the Solar eclipse on 29th march between cloudy patches, a beautiful and rare event. We have also loved the local wildlife from the sheep that may or may not let your car pass on the road to ‘Bob’ the Sparrow who had taken up residence on our cars wing mirror land feeling very related from the peace and quiet and of course the hot tub! Also highly recommended is the local store at Achiltibuie; a great selection and a warm welcome.
PS “Bob” made a huge mess on the cor, but his lady friends seemed very impressed so we left him to it. Had an amazing week in a truly beautiful on spoilt area thank you!
