Got the kids sorted with Sky, dogs settled in, Caroline made a fantastic Spag Bog and we started on the G & T’s and the deer antlers!
Took dogs for a fab walk through the forest at the front door of Kirkstone Lodge.
Then it was bikes on the back of the car and off down to the Rothiemurchus Estate, we biked up the cycle path to Loch Morlich where we had lunch at the Forestry Commission cafe. Then it was off down to the beach at Loch Morlich, stunning day and over 20 degrees.
Then it was on to the Royal Tandoori Restaurant in Aviemore for a great meal. Never had a bad meal there.
Never played this course before, stunning location and nice course. You can get on early which is great if you want a quick round.
Then we met up with the rest of the family at Loch Insh Watersports they had cycled through the forest to Loch Insh. kids played on the 2 big adventure playgrounds.
To finish the last night off we had a fabby pizza at Pizza Riach one of the best I have had in years!
