If you are staying at one of these cottages for Christmas then you are in for a treat!  They are probably the most likely place in Britain to get snow for Christmas in my opinion.  Hillview is located only 20 minutes from the Lecht Ski resort and 40 minutes from Aviemore.

Kirkstone and Mountain View Lodge are only 19 miles from Cairngorm Mountain Ski Resort and 10 minutes from Aviemore.

Achiltibuie for Christmas

This area of Scotland is absolutely stunning, the vistas as you drive towards Achiltibuie from the A835 are probably the best in the UK!  We visited Achnaird Beach on Christmas day and were the only people on, it was fantastic.  Self Catering in Scotland for Christmas is a great way to spend time with family and friends.
