hi my name is Mark Scott and I run Great Rental Properties this short video is about self catering cottages and lodges we have close to Aviemore the Aviemore area which is in the Cairngorms National Park is a fantastic area all year round with Summer sports and Winter sports this is Kirkstone Lodge it took us a long time to find this property but fell in love with it when we found it location is in Inveruglas which is just outside Insh and Loch Insh if you know that area, it has outside sauna and Jacuzzi so you can enjoy the northern lights at night and also the views from the picture window in the lounge.
It has a heated boot room, dogs are welcome, perfect for storing ski, bike, walking gear a fully fitted kitchen with two ovens and upstairs we have a large bedroom en suite downstairs we have log fire, TV with Sky packages comfortable seating to enjoy the view the dining area, this is the upstairs bedroom again has great views from velux windows, large double shower downstairs we have the bunk bedroom (adult size) with DVD player and tv. downstairs again we have another big large king size bed with ensuite as well, so no arguing about which bedroom is the best and we also have a sofa bed at the top of the stairs. Thats Kirkstone Lodge.
Next is our newest probably Mountain View Lodge in the same area as Kirkstone Lodge it has 360 degree views of the mountains, a phenomenal location again in Inveruglas and it’s literally two minutes into the woods, and you can walk right into Glen Feshie outside sauna hot tub to enjoy the views come Summer or Winter it has a pool table and straight into the large living area has tumble dryer washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen the property was built with wheelchair access and mined, two double ovens.
The dining area that can actually seat twelve, we are looking to make it a three bedroom next year and convert the garage but at the moment it is a two bedroom the sofa bed for two adults or two children again again great views comfortable seating area two kingsize beds there and next is the main bedroom it has a large sofa bed on the left as well, you have two walk in showers perfect for wheelchair access as well and this the main bathroom, basically a wet room this is the lounge area again, it’s a huge space, just chill out and relax enjoy the views looking down the glen towards Aviemore, Aviemore is about 10 miles, very easy to get to, lots of activities in the area, and here is a wee Scottie
This is a very short clip of the drive back from Aviemore to the cottages via Kincraig it is a fabulous drive You go past Loch Insh, then through Inch and then there’s a turning on the left which takes us up our private road to the cottages thats Mountain View on the left there That snow had gone the following day, incredible. That is Kirkstone lodge and here is the start of the walk into the forest which is two minutes down the path, finally the shot to give you an idea of the views
