We stayed up in Locholly lodge last Jan and although this in as all signs and along (spoiled by the views up there) really! We found Kirkstone to be a much better layat to much more homelier. Both wonderful properties.
Wonderful walks to be had here in the forest and we were very lucky to be treated with a blanket of thick snow. Just magical only down point – Mountain view neighbors leaving there V. Bright outside light at night regular – spoiled, star gazing from hot tub!
